Jill, this reminds me of a movie I watched on the plane on my way home from England. It’s called “One Week” and is about a guy who learns he has cancer and so decides to enjoy his life. He takes a motorcycle trip from Toronto all the way to the West Coast. My favourite line was when he said “I’m just searching for moments.” It made me realize that no matter where you are in life or in the world, it’s important to notice the moments, notice the beauty, the serenity, the magic. I am inspired by the moments you’ve written about and I hope you continue to have them when you return. Or don’t return. Where ever it is you choose to make home. You are loved.
