They used to walk down our road when it rained...like 20 of them...and they DID look happy. Its an easy attitude to take on, but hard to master if your not born with it! But you know who is the best teacher of learning the Ways of the Westcoast Zen? The Ducks. The westcoast duck spends alot of time in the rain, and unlike the prairie ducks who huddle for shelter and look reluctant even when it means a delicious buffet of worms out in the fields( yeah they're ducks they should love the rain, but not all ducks feel that way!)... the westcoast duck just goes on enjoying his day! Piss pouring Rain or overcast and miserable that duck will have a good day, he is happy in a ditch on the side of the road, or at a busy park or the Lake or even on the beach. The westcoast is his playground and he is at ease with whatever kind of weather comes his way!
